10 Minute Ab Workout

We are so pressed for time these days, but even just a quick little workout can help increase your release of serotonin (some happy hormone anyone?!) Will a 10 minute workout lead to weight loss? Not necessarily, BUT it will ABSOLUTELY make you FEEL better as you tackle your day!

Working your core does not mean doing a million sit-ups. Heck you can strengthen your core by doing balance exercises because your core is what keeps you stable. When will this come in handy? When you slip, your core muscles will be triggered and if you’ve worked them properly you may prevent that fall. When you go to lift your child and you’ve been working your core properly, you’ll be less likely to hurt your back when you lift that little one.  Exercise is many times more about FUNCTION than just about weight loss.

10 Minute Ab Workout for Busy Moms

  1. 30 Second Forearm Plank
  2. 1 Minute Bicycles
  3. 30 Second Side Plank (right side)
  4. 30 Second Mountain Climbers
  5. 30 Second Side Plank (left side)
  6. 30 Second Long Arm Crunches
  7. 1 Minute Standing Mountain Climbers
  8. 30 Seconds Heel Touches

Repeat 2 times at a slow pace. Keep your back flat to the floor.
