Simple Homemade Granola

This was so simple to make and it’s such a great go to snack for when you’re in a pinch! Add  some homemade granola to your yogurt and top it with some fresh fruit and you’ve got a lovely parfait!

 

Instructions/Ingredients:

-3 cups oats

-1/2 cup dried cranberries (or nuts of your choice)

-3 Tbs shredded coconut (optional)

**Preheat oven to 375. Combine all of these ingredients together in a bowl. Spread onto a baking sheet and bake for 17-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn oven off.**

More Ingredients:

-1/2 cup local honey

-2 tsp melted coconut oil

-2 Tbs cinnamon

-1 tsp pure vanilla extract

**Mix all of these ingredients together while the dry ingredients are baking. Once they are done take them out, place them on a cookie sheet that is lined with wax paper and pour this mixture on top. Evenly distribute the mixture. Place back into the oven (it’s now off) for 8-10 minutes. After that, place on a cooling wrack and let it cool then place in a mason jar.**
